04.06.2025. Last week, Business Center Pharmacia (BCPH), acting as the logistics operator for Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU), began the regional distribution of rabies vaccines. These vaccines were procured by MPU on behalf of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The vaccines have already been delivered to Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions, as well as the city of Kyiv.
This week, BCP is continuing deliveries to the Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Kherson, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions.
In total, approximately 21,000 doses of the vaccine are planned for distribution across the regions. This supply will help protect many people from contracting rabies

13.05.2025. For the fourth year in a row, Business Center Pharmacia LLC has been operating under wartime conditions. In order not to stop our work under any circumstances, we have developed a Business Continuity Plan, purchased and put into operation a lot of additional equipment, namely: a backup generator, a solid fuel boiler (pellet), Starlink system and others. Our company is a distributor of many pharmaceutical manufacturers and a logistics operator for the State Enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine. Therefore, we cannot allow even a short-term interruption of our work, as it may affect the quality of the medicines we store.
The confirmation of the proper organization of the continuous operation of Business Center Pharmacia LLC was the certification in accordance with DSTU EN ISO 22301:2021 “Safety and Stability. Business Continuity Management Systems. Requirements” (EN ISO 22301:2019, IDT; ISO 22301:2019, IDT).
This standard is part of the international ISO series and defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving a business continuity management system. It is aimed at identifying risks that may impact operations and implementing processes that ensure resilience and rapid recovery in the event of any disruptions — from technical outages to crisis events at the country or industry level.
As a pharmaceutical distributor, we understand the importance of supply chain continuity for medical products. The implementation of ISO 22301 enables us to:
🔴 Ensure the availability of products to medical institutions and patients, even in the event of force majeure.
🔴 Minimize losses associated with supply disruptions;
🔴 Ensure guaranteed quality of service regardless of external circumstances;
🔴 Build trust with customers, government agencies and partners;
🔴 Demonstrate readiness to respond quickly to emergencies.
✍️ What does certification mean❓
The ISO 22301 certificate is issued after an independent audit confirms that the company meets all the requirements of the standard. It is valid for three years, but mandatory surveillance audits are conducted each year. At the end of this period, the company is being recertified.
For the pharmaceutical distribution industry, where continuity of supply is key to patient safety, achieving this certification is further proof of our readiness to operate safely and responsibly in any environment.

💊 On April 24, 2025, employees of Business Center Pharmacy LLC took part in the Forum for manufacturers and distributors of the Ukrainian and international market of medicines, medical devices and medical equipment, which was organized by the state-owned enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine with the support of the World Health Organization and EU Delegation to Ukraine.
During the Forum, participants have the opportunely to get following information:
– What changes will face the participants during procurement and contracts signing procedures
– How MPU calculates the delivery timelines
– What’s new in the registration procedure for medicines
– How is the quality control of medicines and medical devices
– How non-price criteria will be implemented by purchasing medical devices
– How the participants can communicate with MPU using SAP Ariba
– Will it continue the practice of using Managed Entry Agreements in 2025?

17.04.2025. An important step towards more efficient logistics!
We are pleased to inform you about important news: in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Code of Ukraine, Business Center Pharmacia has received authorization to apply customs simplifications in accordance with the EU standards.
This is a kind of “certificate of trust” from the customs authorities to the company, which allows it to enjoy special benefits and simplifications. The very process of filling out the authorization application enables an initial assessment of the company’s compliance with legal requirements, such as proper document retention, facility security, and related standards.
Having received the authorization to apply simplifications, we have confirmed that our company meets the following criteria:
📍 Compliance with the requirements of the customs legislation of Ukraine;
📍 Proper system of accounting, commercial and transport documentation;
📍 Ensuring practical standards of competence or professional qualification of the responsible official of the company.
Thanks to the coordinated and professional efforts of all company departments over the course of several months, we have successfully obtained a series of authorizations.
🔐 Authorizations to use simplifications received:
⏺️ Comprehensive guarantee;
⏺️ Authorization to use special seals;
⏺️ Release at the premises procedure;
⏺️ Transit simplifications.
These authorizations offer new perspectives for our company:
✅ Optimization of time and reduction of customs clearance costs;
✅ Improved quality of customs services;
✅ Increased trust from partners and expansion of business contacts;
✅ Enhanced internal control and security procedures;
✅ More effective interaction with government authorities.
Currently, shipments from our suppliers are delivered directly to our warehouse without entering the customs control zone. They can be stored there without customs clearance for up to 120 days, eliminating the need for a customs warehouse.
The first case has already made its way — on March 27, 2025,  the shipment from GE Healthcare Ireland Limited successfully arrived at our warehouse and was placed under customs control for temporary storage.
This is another step forward that confirms our focus on quality, development and transparent logistics.

Business Center Pharmacia LLC attended the presentation of the new Palliative Care Center in Kyiv city.

The team of Business Center Pharmacia took part in the presentation of the new palliative care center in Kyiv city, an important social initiative implemented by the SVOYI Charity Fund in cooperation with the Hospices of Hope UK Charity.

For all those who work every day to improve the quality of life of critically ill patients, the unveiling of the center is a significant event. For our company, this is not just an event, but a continuation of deep, systematic cooperation with the SVOYI Fund. We have been supporting our friends for many years, providing medicines at reduced prices, supporting the development of palliative care in Kyiv city and the region.

The new facility will be a long-awaited “home” for the local palliative care service, which operates with love, care and professionalism. This important milestone was made possible by Hospices of Hope.

The symbolic ribbon was cut by the British Ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Harris. He said:
“I am delighted to cut the ribbon on a new UK-Ukraine partnership in the vitally important field of palliative care”.

We wish you further development, inspiration and strength in this extremely important work, especially in such difficult times for our country. During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with our material and technical base, warehouse processes, and the principles of storing medicines 💊. They had the opportunity to see firsthand that all our services meet licensing requirements, regulations, and Good Distribution Practice standards.

This visit is part of our close cooperation 🤝 with the “All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS,” through which we provide comprehensive logistics services. Our collaboration ensures uninterrupted access to laboratory diagnostics tools and other medical devices for people who require ongoing medical support.

Our joint efforts contribute to improving the health and quality of life for vulnerable populations, which is a key mission for both parties.
